Why this matters

What you should know before hiring any roofer

Residential roofing is the bulk of our work and has been since 1993. We are not a commercial roofer who takes residential jobs on the side. The crew that works on your home is the same crew that has done thousands of LA single family roofs. The owner who inspects your roof is the same owner who has been doing this in greater LA for over thirty years.

The difference between a residential roofer and a commercial roofer is more than the building type. Residential work requires craft, attention to the visible details like ridge work and valleys, neighbor coordination on tight streets, and respect for the property. We tarp landscaping below the work area, protect AC condensers and pool covers, and clean the yard daily. The standard is that the home looks the same on the outside as it did before we started, except the roof looks better.

Older LA homes get special attention. Pre 1950 homes often have original wood deck that is brittle, plaster ceilings below that crack with vibration, and sometimes original asbestos containing materials in older underlayments. We handle each carefully. Asbestos testing is included where the age suggests it might be present, and abatement is coordinated with a licensed asbestos contractor if needed.

Owner inspection is the core promise on every residential job. The person who inspects your roof and writes the quote is the same person who is on site when the work happens. There is no sales person who promises one thing and then disappears. There is no subcontractor crew we have never met. The continuity from quote to install is what produces the workmanship that has kept our CSLB record clean since 1993.

Owner promise: An owner or senior roofer is the person who inspects your roof and writes your quote. Not a salesperson. Not a subcontractor. The same person who quotes the job is on site when the work happens.
