Why people stay at American Roofing Pro
We are a family owned roofing contractor based in Northridge, serving Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley since 1993. The crews that show up to do the work are the same crews you would meet on day one. We hire for the long haul, and our foremen and senior roofers have been with us for years, not months.
The work is steady. We run year round across LA County with 10 active crews on residential, multifamily, and commercial roofs. Project sizes range from a single repair to a full multi building HOA replacement. The variety keeps the work interesting, and the volume keeps the paychecks consistent.
We pay fair, we pay on time, and we provide the tools, materials, and safety equipment that crews actually need on the roof. Every job has an owner or a senior roofer on site who inspects the work and stands behind it. There is no sales agent writing scopes that the crew has to fight in the field.
If you take pride in clean work, show up on time, communicate clearly with homeowners, and treat the crew next to you with respect, you will fit here. Experience with composition shingle, tile lift and re lay, flat and low slope membranes, or commercial systems is welcome at every level from helper to lead foreman.

A few things people ask
Do I need prior roofing experience?
For helper and trainee positions, no prior experience required. We will teach you the trade. We do ask that you can show up on time every day, lift fifty pounds repeatedly, and work outdoors in heat. For roofer and foreman positions, we look for several years of hands on experience on shingle, tile, or flat roof systems.
Are positions full time or seasonal?
Full time, year round. Los Angeles roofing does not have a real off season. We run consistently from January through December and our payroll reflects that.
What kind of equipment and safety gear do you provide?
Everything required on the roof. Harnesses, anchors, ladders, lifts, nail guns, compressors, hand tools, hard hats, eye protection, and gloves are company supplied. We follow Cal OSHA fall protection standards on every job, not just the ones being inspected.
Will my application be confidential?
Yes. Resumes and contact information go only to the owners and the hiring manager. We do not share applicant information with any third party.
