American Roofing Pro is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability. We work continuously to improve the accessibility and usability of americanroofingpro.us for all visitors, including people who use assistive technologies.

1. Standards we follow

This website is built with accessibility in mind and aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium. WCAG 2.1 AA defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, learning disabilities, cognitive limitations, limited movement, speech disabilities, and combinations of these.

2. Measures we have taken

• Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, the address autocomplete dropdown) can be used with the keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators.
• Skip to content. Every page provides a skip link as the first focusable element so screen reader and keyboard users can jump past repeated navigation.
• Semantic structure. Pages use a single H1, descriptive headings, and HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) so assistive technologies can navigate efficiently.
• Text alternatives. Meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked as such so screen readers skip them.
• Large readable type. Body text starts at 18px with line height 1.7 and meets WCAG AA color contrast against its background.
• Large tap targets. Interactive controls in the estimator are at least 60 pixels tall on mobile to support people with motor limitations.
• Reduced motion. If your system requests reduced motion, animations on this site are disabled.
• Form support. All form fields have visible labels associated programmatically with their input, with clear error messages and help text.
• Mobile and zoom support. The site is responsive from 320 pixels wide upward and supports browser zoom up to 200 percent without loss of content.

3. Compatibility

This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and common assistive technologies including the latest versions of NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android.

4. Known limitations

We strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, but there are areas where conformance is still in progress:

• Some older photos in our gallery may have generic alt text. We are revising those as part of ongoing improvements.
• Some embedded third-party content (Google Maps satellite imagery rendered in the estimator) may not be fully accessible to screen readers. Alternative descriptive text is provided alongside the image.
• Our online estimator uses Google Maps Places Autocomplete for address entry. Users who prefer not to use the dropdown can type the full address and press Enter without selecting from the list.

5. Need help or have feedback

If you encounter a barrier on this website, or if you would like to request information in an alternate format, please contact us. We treat accessibility feedback seriously and will respond within 5 business days.

6. Continuing improvement

We are committed to ongoing improvement. We perform internal accessibility reviews when we add or change features, and we welcome external feedback. Any reported barrier is logged and addressed as a priority. Significant changes to the site are reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA before they go live.
